CAATEC- High Technology Advisory Committee-What is CAATEC?

The High Technology Advisory Committee Foundation- CAATEC- is a private, independent, impartial, non-profit, apolitical and non-governmental organization that seeks to improve and enhance the international competitiveness of Costa Rica, through actions aimed at improving areas of Infrastructure Technology, Education, Basic and Applied Science and Technology Generation and Transfer, especially related to the development of private and Academy sectors.

With the purpose to foster a sustainable and low-carbon-emission development, CAATEC is working on the acceleration of development and diffusion of environmentally sustainable technologies and practices.

Mission

We are an advisory institution on policies in Technology Infrastructure, Education, Basic and Applied Science and Technology Generation and Transfer.

Vision

To become the main advisory organization on Technological Infrastructure policies, Education, Basic and Applied Science, and Generation and Transference of Technology in the region.
